Mattias Sapp

Mattias Sapp is an Estonian goalkeeper born in Paide on 8 January 2001. He developed in the Paide Linnameeskond academy before progressing to the club’s U21 side around 2017. From 2018 to 2021, Sapp became a regular in Estonia’s Esiliiga B and Esiliiga, building substantial reserve-team experience. His U21 career included a 2020 Estonian third-tier title, and he moved into Paide’s senior squad during that season. Sapp then began contributing to the first team, making Meistriliiga appearances in 2021 and 2022 while continuing to provide a dependable presence for the reserves. In early 2025, he moved on loan to Viimsi JK, where he took on a regular role in the Esiliiga. Described as a ball-playing and sweeper goalkeeper, Sapp is associated with distribution and proactive work outside his area.
