Mamadou Sangaré

Mamadou Sangaré is a Malian midfielder born in Bamako on 26 June 2002. He began his football development with Yeelen Olympique before moving to Red Bull Salzburg in September 2020. Sangaré was integrated into FC Liefering, gaining experience in Austria’s second tier within the Salzburg pathway. He later joined Grazer AK on loan, recording five goals and three assists in 26 matches during the 2021–22 season. A subsequent spell at Zulte Waregem ended early, while his time with TSV Hartberg brought more than 45 appearances across 18 months. In July 2024, Rapid Vienna signed Sangaré permanently, and he scored an acrobatic goal in the Vienna derby in February 2025. Internationally, he helped Mali finish third at the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations before progressing into the senior team. Sangaré is currently listed with Brentford.
