Emmanouil Saliakas

Emmanouil Saliakas is a Greek defender born in Heraklion on 12 September 1996. He developed at Ergotelis before joining Olympiakos Piraeus in 2013 and entering the club’s youth system. During his Olympiakos years, Saliakas was part of squads that won three Greek Super League titles and one Greek Cup between 2013 and 2016. He subsequently built senior experience with Karmiotissa, AO Chania, PAS Lamia and PAS Giannina, scoring seven goals in 50 appearances for Chania. At Giannina, he established himself as a right-back and made his Greece senior debut in June 2021. Saliakas moved to FC St. Pauli in July 2022 and helped them win the 2. Bundesliga title and promotion in 2023–24. He primarily operates as a right-back or wing-back, contributing energetic running and attacking delivery from wide areas.
