Matej Šakota
Matej Šakota attacks space, drifts inside to threaten the back line, and links play with quick one‑touch actions. Born in Mostar, Matej Šakota rose through Zrinjski, becoming their youngest-ever goalscorer in May 2022. Then he joined Dinamo Zagreb. He spent two seasons in the Croatian league with NK Slaven Belupo. Matej Šakota has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth levels up to U21 and featured in UEFA Conference League matches. As a right winger who drifts inside, he presses high and drives at defenders to create separation. Šakota’s box-to-box instincts let him arrive late in the box and finish moves. In every setup, Matej Šakota pins centre-backs and keeps the attack moving.
