Mathys Saban
Mathys Saban is a French forward who operates primarily as a right-footed left winger. Born in Paris on 15 May 2002, he developed at US Torcy before joining Saint-Étienne’s academy in December 2016. Saban progressed through the club’s youth system and signed his first professional contract in June 2020. He made his senior debut for Saint-Étienne in the final match of the 2020–21 Ligue 1 season, a 1–0 defeat by Dijon. During the following two campaigns, he made occasional appearances as Saint-Étienne competed in Ligue 1 and then Ligue 2. Seeking more regular football, Saban spent the 2023–24 season on loan at Luxembourg’s Union Titus Pétange before returning to the Saint-Étienne setup. At 1.77 metres, he offers a left-sided attacking option who can also play on the right or as a No. 10.
