Maximilian Rosenfelder

Maximilian Rosenfelder is a German defender born in Freiburg im Breisgau on February 10, 2003. He joined SC Freiburg’s academy in 2014, beginning a long-term development with his hometown club. In 2021, he moved into the SC Freiburg II setup in the 3. Liga, where he established himself as a regular centre-back. Rosenfelder reached Freiburg’s first-team squad during the 2023–24 season, although his senior breakthrough came the following campaign. He made his Bundesliga debut as a starter against VfB Stuttgart on 24 August 2024, completing the match in a 3–1 victory. Later that season, Rosenfelder scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 1–0 away win at VfL Wolfsburg. Internationally, he progressed through Germany’s youth teams and made his under-21 debut in August 2024. He also featured at the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, while continuing his senior development with SC Freiburg.
