Magnus Bech Riisnæs

Magnus Bech Riisnæs is a Norwegian midfielder born on 4 November 2004. He developed at Lørenskog IF before joining Vålerenga’s academy in 2019. Riisnæs made his senior debut for Vålerenga in a Norwegian Cup match against Lyn in July 2021 and later made his Eliteserien debut against Mjøndalen that December. He established himself during the 2023 league campaign, making 30 appearances and supplying four assists. In 2024, he helped Vålerenga win the OBOS-ligaen title, scoring three goals as the club returned to the top flight. In July 2025, Riisnæs moved to Bodø/Glimt, adding a new stage to his progression in Norwegian football. He has also represented Norway at under-21 level and offers midfield versatility, having been used centrally and in wider or defensive roles.
