Morgan Paul Poaty

Morgan Paul Poaty is a defender, primarily operating at left-back or left wing-back. Born in Rodez, France, in 1997, he developed through Montpellier’s system and progressed to the club’s senior side in 2016. Poaty also represented France at under-16 level before later committing his international career to Congo. In 2018, he joined Estac Troyes on loan from Montpellier, gaining regular Ligue 2 experience. He moved to Seraing United in Belgium in 2021, where sustained first-team involvement included three goals across his spell. Poaty transferred to Lausanne in Switzerland in August 2023. There, he has continued to combine defensive work with width and crossing, while also adapting to an inverted role that takes him inside during build-up. He remains part of Lausanne’s squad and Congo’s international setup.
