Mathis Christophe Picouleau

Mathis Christophe Picouleau is a French midfielder born in Rennes on 8 May 2000. He began playing at SC Le Rheu before joining the Stade Rennais academy, where he developed through the club’s youth system. Picouleau represented France at under-17 and under-19 level, including the 2017 under-17 tournaments and the 2019 European Championship, and featured for Rennes in the 2019/20 UEFA Youth League. In June 2020, he left Rennes to sign his first professional contract with Valenciennes, making his Ligue 2 debut against Paris FC that August. During three seasons at Valenciennes, Picouleau played as a central or attacking midfielder and also covered at left-back. He joined Nîmes Olympique in July 2023 before moving to Concarneau in July 2025. At Concarneau, Mathis Picouleau operates in midfield, linking defence and attack while helping control possession and tempo.
