Máximo Perrone

Máximo Perrone is an Argentine defensive midfielder born in Buenos Aires on 7 January 2003. He developed in Vélez Sarsfield’s academy and made his professional debut for the club in 2022. Perrone established himself in Vélez’s midfield before joining Manchester City in January 2023. He made his City senior debut against Bournemouth and was part of the squad that won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League treble that year. Perrone then moved to Las Palmas on loan for the 2023–24 season, gaining experience in La Liga. He subsequently joined Como, initially on loan, and continued his development in Italy under Cesc Fàbregas. Primarily used as a holding midfielder, Perrone helps build play from deep, circulates possession and uses anticipation to screen passing lanes.
