Mathías Olivera Miramontes
Mathías Olivera Miramontes is a Uruguayan left-back born in Montevideo on 31 October 1997. He developed in Nacional’s youth system and made his senior debut for the club in February 2016. After a brief spell there, Olivera moved through Atenas de San Carlos without making a senior appearance before joining Getafe in August 2017. Getafe sent him on loan to Albacete for the 2018–19 season, and the defender returned to compete for the Spanish club before establishing himself there. In May 2022, Napoli signed Olivera, adding a left-sided defender capable of contributing in build-up and operating in more advanced or central positions. With Napoli, he was part of the Serie A title-winning squads in 2022–23 and 2024–25. Olivera made his Uruguay debut in January 2022 and represented the Celeste at the 2022 World Cup and 2024 Copa América.
