Miguel Ángel Navarro Zárate

Miguel Ángel Navarro Zárate is a Venezuelan left-back born in Maracaibo on 26 February 1999. He began his senior career with JBL Zulia, making his top-flight debut in 2017. In 2018, Navarro joined Deportivo La Guaira, where he developed into a regular defender and recorded 30 appearances during the 2019 season. Chicago Fire signed him in January 2020, beginning a four-season MLS spell in which he made nearly 100 appearances and increased his attacking contribution. After moving to Colorado Rapids in late 2023, he spent the 2024 season on loan with Argentina’s Talleres, making 37 appearances. Navarro subsequently returned to Colorado, where he remains listed, adding experience from both MLS and Argentine football. Internationally, he represents Venezuela and has been involved in the national team’s World Cup qualifying campaign.
