Mevlan Murati

Mevlan Murati is a North Macedonian defender, born in Tetovo on 5 March 1994. He developed in Shkëndija’s youth system and joined the club’s senior team in 2012, beginning a career largely based in the Macedonian top flight. Murati spent much of the following decade with Shkëndija, while also taking loan spells at Partizani, Shkupi and Renova for senior match experience. In 2023 he moved to FK Rabotnički, before playing for KF Gostivari in 2024–25 and returning to Shkëndija. Primarily a right-back, Murati has also been used at left-back and in a right-sided midfield role, contributing through positioning, tackling and support in transition. Internationally, he was briefly involved with Albania’s under-21 side before representing North Macedonia at under-21 level and helping the team qualify for the 2017 European Under-21 Championship.
