Marius Müller

Marius Müller is a German goalkeeper born in Heppenheim on 12 July 1993. He began at TV 1883 Lampertheim before joining 1. FC Kaiserslautern’s academy in 2003, and he made his senior debut in the 2. Bundesliga in May 2014. After progressing into Kaiserslautern’s first-team picture, Müller became a regular starter during the 2015–16 campaign. In June 2016, he moved to RB Leipzig, where opportunities were limited and he also featured for the club’s reserve side before returning to Kaiserslautern on loan for 2017–18. Müller joined FC Luzern in 2019 and established himself as a consistent starter, making 120 Swiss league appearances across four seasons and helping the club win the 2021 Swiss Cup. He moved to FC Schalke 04 in 2023, playing 21 times in the 2. Bundesliga, before joining VfL Wolfsburg in July 2024. At 1.92 metres, Müller combines a strong physical presence with shot-stopping, calm decision-making and distribution that can launch attacks.
