Miro Max Maria Muheim

Miro Max Maria Muheim is a Swiss defender born in Zürich in 1998. He developed at FC Zürich before moving to Chelsea’s academy in 2014, where he progressed from attacking roles into a left wing-back and won successive UEFA Youth League titles in 2014/15 and 2015/16. After a loan spell with Zürich’s second team, he returned permanently to Switzerland in January 2018 to join FC St. Gallen. Muheim made 66 appearances there before joining Hamburger SV on loan in 2021. HSV made the transfer permanent in March 2022, and he reached 100 competitive appearances for the club by August 2024. In 2024/25, the left-sided defender recorded 10 assists and one goal in the 2. Bundesliga. He also scored his first HSV goal in a 4–2 win over Regensburg in 2022, while contributing from wide areas and set pieces.
