Marlon Morgenstern

Marlon Morgenstern is a German defender born in Berlin on 30 January 2001. He began developing at 1.FC Wilmersdorf before joining the Hertha BSC academy in 2013. During his youth years at Hertha, Morgenstern played in midfield as well as progressing toward a defensive role, building experience in the U15, U17 and U19 sides. In 2019, he left Berlin for Hannover 96, combining U19 football with appearances for Hannover 96 II in the Regionalliga Nord. Morgenstern returned to Hertha BSC in 2021 and established himself with Hertha BSC II in the Regionalliga Northeast. His development has taken him from central or defensive midfield into central defence, while he has also been used at right-back. At 184 centimetres, Morgenstern offers a physical presence and remains part of Hertha BSC II’s defensive setup.
