Matei Leonard Moraru
Matei Leonard Moraru is a Romanian midfielder born in Cluj-Napoca on 31 July 2005. He began developing at Luceafărul Cluj-Napoca and also spent part of his youth at LPS Piatra Neamț before returning to the Universitatea Cluj setup in 2020. Moraru made his senior debut for Universitatea Cluj in Liga II during the 2020–21 season, gaining early experience while still a teenager. In 2023–24, he joined Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț on loan, making 14 appearances and scoring five goals. He later moved to U Craiova 1948, where his progress was interrupted by an injury in October 2024. Moraru has represented Romania at youth level from under-16 to under-19, adding international experience to a career that has included wide and attacking midfield roles.
