Marco Meilinger

Marco Meilinger attacks space from the left, runs beyond the line, and threatens the channel. Meilinger presses high for turnovers. Marco Meilinger rose through USK Anif and SV Salzburg before breaking through with Red Bull Salzburg in 2009. He amassed 205 Austrian Bundesliga appearances across Salzburg, Ried, Austria Wien and SCR Altach. A turning point came with a move abroad to Aalborg BK in 2016, adding Danish top-flight experience. In wide attacking roles Meilinger links play, checks short then spins in behind, and finishes moves from the front.
