Mislav Matić

Mislav Matić is a Croatian defender, born in Sinj on 6 January 2000, who stands 1.95 metres tall. He began at Junak Sinj before joining Lokomotiva Zagreb in 2017. In 2019, Matić moved on loan to NK Rudeš, where he gained senior experience in Croatia’s second tier. He signed for Ukrainian Premier League side FC Minaj in August 2020 and made 37 appearances across two seasons. During that period, he was also called up to the Croatia under-21 squad. Matić returned to Croatia with HNK Šibenik in 2022, featuring in the club’s run to the 2022–23 Croatian Cup final, and later had a short stint at NK Rudeš, including use in defensive midfield. He joined Vardar Skopje in January 2025, where he has continued as a regular central defender and scored three league goals in the 2025–26 season.
