Mihai Daniel Lixandru

Mihai Daniel Lixandru is a Romanian midfielder born in Bucharest on 5 June 2001. Developed in FCSB’s youth system, he began his senior career on loan with Viitorul Târgu Jiu in 2020–21, making 21 Liga 2 appearances. He then moved to Gaz Metan Mediaș, where he made 17 top-flight appearances in 2021–22. Two loan spells at CS Mioveni followed, and his regular role during the 2022–23 season prepared him for a return to FCSB. Lixandru subsequently became part of the FCSB midfield and contributed to the club’s 2023–24 Liga I title triumph. He has also been used as a centre-back and represented Romania at under-21 level before receiving a senior call-up in 2024. Lixandru is listed with Al-Fateh and brings defensive-midfield experience and positional versatility.
