Meriton Korenica

Meriton Korenica is a Kosovo midfielder born on 15 December 1996 in Rahovec. He began in KF Rahoveci’s youth ranks before joining Shkëndija in North Macedonia in 2015, making his professional debut during the 2015–16 season and later spending time on loan at Metalurg Skopje. Korenica returned to Kosovo with Liria Prizren, where he established himself as a senior starter between 2016 and 2018. He then joined Prishtina, scored on his Europa League debut and helped the club win the Kosovar Cup in 2019–20. At Ballkani, he contributed to three consecutive Kosovo Superleague titles from 2021–22 through 2023–24. After a spell with Manisa FK and a return to Ballkani, Korenica moved to CFR Cluj in July 2024. He made his Kosovo debut against Switzerland in 2023, assisting in a 2–2 draw, and later won the Romanian Cup with CFR Cluj.
