Marc Oliver Kempf

Marc Oliver Kempf is a German centre-back born in Lich on 28 January 1995. He developed with TSV Dorn-Assenheim and SV Bruchenbrücken before joining Eintracht Frankfurt’s youth system in 2007 and making his senior debut for the club in 2012. During his early career, Kempf represented Germany at youth level and won the 2014 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. In 2014, he moved to SC Freiburg, where he continued his progression and helped the club win the 2. Bundesliga in 2016. Kempf joined VfB Stuttgart in 2018 and became an important defensive presence, including periods as captain. He transferred to Hertha BSC in 2022 before moving abroad to Como in August 2024. At Como, Kempf continues to provide experience in central defence while adapting his Bundesliga background to Italian football.
