Melker Olle Jonsson

Melker Olle Jonsson is a Swedish defender born in Helsingborg on 10 July 2002. He began his football education with IFK Lidingö before joining Djurgårdens IF’s academy in 2019. Jonsson reached Djurgården’s first team in 2020 and gained Allsvenskan experience during his early senior development. In 2022, he moved to Landskrona BoIS, initially on loan before completing a permanent transfer. At Landskrona, he established himself in the Swedish second tier, contributing one goal in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Standing 1.86 metres, Jonsson has operated mainly as a centre-back, while his defensive qualities and positional flexibility have also allowed him to feature in midfield. He joined Danish Superliga club Silkeborg IF in January 2026, beginning his first move abroad and adding a new stage to a career developed through Swedish football.
