Moritz Jenz
Moritz Jenz is a German centre-back born in Berlin on 30 April 1999. He developed in Berlin before moving to Fulham’s academy in London in 2015, where he captained youth sides and appeared for the club’s under-23 team. Seeking senior football, Jenz joined Lausanne-Sport and made his professional debut in the Swiss Super League in August 2020. He moved to FC Lorient in 2021, gaining Ligue 1 experience and also operating in a back three. In 2022, Jenz joined Celtic on loan, scored on his league debut and made his UEFA Champions League debut against Real Madrid. He returned to Germany with Schalke 04 on loan in 2023 before signing permanently for VfL Wolfsburg later that year. At 1.90 metres, Jenz combines a strong physical presence with aerial defending and has also continued his career through a loan spell at Mainz 05.
