Mathias Jensen

Mathias Jensen is a Danish central midfielder born in Jerslev on 1 January 1996. He developed at FC Nordsjaelland, made his senior debut in 2016 and became an important first-team player. In the 2017/18 Danish Superliga season, Jensen recorded 12 goals and 10 assists, helping establish his reputation as a productive midfielder. Celta Vigo signed him in 2018, but injuries limited him to six league appearances in Spain. Brentford brought Jensen to England in July 2019, and he quickly became a regular in the Championship. He played a prominent role as Brentford won promotion to the Premier League in 2021, then continued to influence games through passing, set pieces and midfield work. Jensen has also represented Denmark, including at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024, while remaining part of Brentford’s squad.
