Mattéo Elias Kenzo Guendouzi Olié

Mattéo Guendouzi is a French midfielder known for energetic ball progression and competitive central play. Born in Poissy in 1999, Mattéo Guendouzi developed in Paris Saint-Germain’s academy before joining Lorient in 2014. He made his Ligue 1 debut for Lorient in October 2016, gaining attention for his confidence in possession. Arsenal signed him in July 2018, and he made the step from France’s second tier into Premier League football. After his Arsenal career stalled in 2020, he spent loan spells with Hertha BSC and Marseille. At Marseille, Guendouzi took on varied midfield duties, linking play from deeper areas and contributing further forward. He joined Lazio in August 2023, where his positioning and passing supported a more mature midfield role, before moving to Fenerbahçe. Internationally, he represents France, winning the 2021 UEFA Nations League and finishing runner-up at the 2022 World Cup.
