Micheál Glynn
Micheál Glynn is a Northern Irish left-back who developed after beginning at Ballinamallard United. In February 2021, he joined Derry City, beginning a progression toward senior football through loan spells. With Dungannon Swifts in 2021–22, Glynn made 37 appearances, while a subsequent spell at Glenavon further raised his profile. In January 2023, he moved to Larne in a deal involving Ben Doherty. Glynn helped Larne win consecutive Irish Premiership titles in 2022/23 and 2023/24, and featured in Champions League and Conference League qualifying matches. Primarily defensive on the left, he also offers width by advancing forward and can operate as a left midfielder or wing-back. He is currently listed with Ballymena United. His Gaelic football background included MacRory Cup and Hogan Cup success with St Michael’s College, while he graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2024.
