Marvin Ladji Gakpa
Marvin Ladji Gakpa is a French midfielder born in Dunkerque on November 1, 1993. He developed in Valenciennes’ youth system and progressed to the club’s reserve side before moving to Lorient. Gakpa made his Ligue 1 debut for Lorient in 2015, then joined Ajaccio on loan for the 2016–17 Ligue 2 season. He later continued his development with Quevilly-Rouen, gaining experience as an attacking midfielder. In 2018, Gakpa joined Metz and contributed to the club’s promotion campaign to Ligue 1. He moved to Paris FC in 2020, where he remained a creative presence in midfield. In 2021, he moved abroad to Manisa BBSK in Turkey’s second tier, adapting to a more transitional league. He is currently listed with Rouen, extending a career across French and Turkish football.
