Mads Lautrup Freundlich

Mads Lautrup Freundlich is a Danish midfielder, born on 25 March 2003. He began his development with Aars IK before moving through Aalborg BK and Lyseng IF. During his teenage years, Freundlich joined Hobro IK and made his official first-team debut in September 2020, appearing in a cup match against Lyseng. He made his Danish 1st Division debut against Hvidovre IF in May 2021, although his first-team opportunities remained limited during the following season. Freundlich then established himself at Hobro, scoring four goals in the 2023–24 campaign. In July 2024, he moved to Silkeborg IF, made his debut five days later and scored his first Superliga goal in November during a 1–0 victory over Randers FC. At Silkeborg, Freundlich operates centrally or defensively, receiving from defenders, progressing possession and switching play.
