Marlon Joseph Fossey

Marlon Joseph Fossey is an American defender who operates primarily at right-back for Standard Liège. Born in Los Angeles in 1998, he moved with his family to Jersey at four and began playing with St Clement FC. Fulham recruited Fossey after a youth tournament when he was 11, and he developed in the club’s academy, where he was later converted from winger to full-back. He joined Shrewsbury Town on loan in 2020, returning to Fulham after a brief spell. In January 2022, Fossey moved to Bolton Wanderers on loan and impressed in senior football, although a knee injury ended that spell early. Standard Liège signed him permanently in September 2022, giving him a platform to establish himself in Belgian football and take on leadership responsibilities. Fossey represented the United States at the 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship and made his senior debut in a 1–1 friendly draw with New Zealand in September 2024.
