Michal Faško

Michal Faško is a Slovak midfielder born in Brezno on 24 August 1994. He began at Partizan Čierny Balog and later developed in the youth systems of FK Železiarne Podbrezová and MFK Dukla Banská Bystrica. Faško made his senior debut for Dukla in 2011, entering against Spartak Trnava at 16. After a spell with MFK Ružomberok from 2015 to 2017, he moved to Switzerland and joined Grasshopper Club Zürich. He later spent time on loan with Eintracht Braunschweig before returning to Slovakia with FC Nitra in 2019. Faško subsequently played for Slovan Liberec, returned to Dukla Banská Bystrica, and represented FK Košice from 2023 to 2025. In July 2025, he joined Žilina, continuing a career marked by attacking midfield play and positional versatility.
