Maxime Dupé

Maxime Dupé is a French goalkeeper born in Malestroit on 4 March 1993. He developed at JA Pleucadeuc and Vannes OC before joining the Nantes academy in 2008, and he signed his first professional contract there in 2012. Dupé made his Ligue 1 debut for Nantes in February 2014, keeping a clean sheet in a goalless draw with Nice, and later recorded 64 appearances for the club. Seeking regular football, he joined Clermont Foot on loan for the 2019–20 Ligue 2 season. In 2020, Dupé moved to Toulouse, where he became an established starter and helped win the 2021–22 Ligue 2 title. He also helped Toulouse lift the 2022–23 Coupe de France, including a 5–1 final victory over Nantes, before moving to Anderlecht in summer 2023. After a brief Belgian spell, he returned to France with Nice in January 2024, adding experience and competition in goal. Internationally, Dupé was part of France’s squad that won the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
