Marko Dmitrović
Marko Dmitrović is a Serbian goalkeeper born in Subotica on January 24, 1992. He developed in Red Star Belgrade’s academy and was promoted to the first team in 2010, although he did not make a competitive appearance. Dmitrović moved to Újpest in 2013, making his professional debut the following year and helping the Hungarian club win the Magyar Kupa. After a short spell at Charlton Athletic, he joined Alcorcón in 2015, where regular football accelerated his progress. He transferred to Eibar in 2017, earning the club’s Player of the Season award in 2017–18. At Eibar, Dmitrović scored a penalty against Atlético Madrid in January 2021, despite his side losing 2–1. A Serbia international, he later represented Sevilla and attracted attention in a 2023 Europa League match at PSV by restraining a pitch invader before security intervened, then joined Espanyol in June 2025.
