Mamady Diambou
Mamady Diambou is a Malian midfielder born in Bamako on 11 November 2002. He developed with Guidars FC before joining Red Bull Salzburg on 4 January 2021 and entering the club’s development pathway with FC Liefering. At Liefering, Diambou made 32 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists as he adapted to Austrian football. He progressed to Salzburg’s first team during the 2021/22 season and helped the club win the Austrian Bundesliga and Austrian Cup. In January 2023, Salzburg sent him on loan to FC Luzern, where he made 14 appearances in the Swiss Super League. After returning, Diambou overcame a broken arm and earned renewed opportunities during Salzburg’s 2023/24 campaign. He has also represented Mali, making his senior debut in March 2024 and assisting in a 2–0 win over Nigeria.
