Mladen Devetak

Mladen Devetak is a Serbian football defender born in Novi Sad on 12 March 1999. He developed through Vojvodina’s youth system and made his professional debut against Javor Ivanjica in May 2017. He later established himself with Vojvodina, winning the Serbian Cup in 2020. In 2022, Devetak moved to Palermo, where he made six appearances, and subsequently joined Viterbese on loan. A 2023/24 loan at Istra 1961 gave the left-sided defender a regular role, with 30 appearances. Rijeka signed Devetak permanently in August 2024, after his Croatian spell had raised his profile. With Rijeka, he helped win the HNL title and Croatian Cup in 2024/25, and can operate as a left-back or left-sided centre-back, combining defensive positioning with support in wide areas.
