Mikkel Desler Puggaard

Mikkel Desler Puggaard is a Danish midfielder born in Assens on 19 February 1995. He developed at Assens FC before joining Odense Boldklub (OB), where he made his senior debut in the Danish Superliga in 2014. After five seasons with OB, Desler moved to FK Haugesund in Norway in 2019. His time there saw him develop from a midfield background into a high-energy right-back capable of covering the flank. In 2021, he joined Toulouse, earning a place in the Ligue 2 Team of the Year as the club won the division and promotion in 2021–22. The following season, Desler helped Toulouse win the Coupe de France, their first major trophy. He later featured in the Europa League, including Toulouse’s victory over Liverpool, before joining Austin, where his passing and defensive work support the team.
