Mathias Delorge-Knieper

Mathias Delorge-Knieper is a Belgian midfielder born in Sint-Truiden on 31 July 2004. He began developing at Heers VV before joining the Sint-Truiden academy in 2011, and he trained with the senior squad from November 2020. Delorge-Knieper made his professional debut for Sint-Truiden in April 2022, featuring in a 3–0 win over Standard Liège. He later joined Lierse Kempenzonen on loan for the second half of the 2022–23 season, gaining experience in the Challenger Pro League and scoring his first professional goal. Returning to Sint-Truiden, he established himself during the 2023–24 campaign, making 40 appearances. Gent signed Delorge-Knieper in July 2024, and he scored his first goal for the club in a 4–1 victory over Westerlo. He has also been involved with Belgium Under-21s.
