Marco Antonio Delgado

Marco Antonio Delgado is an American central midfielder for Los Angeles FC. Born in Glendora, California, on May 16, 1995, he began playing at four and developed with Cosmos Academy West before joining the U.S. Soccer U-17 Residency Program. Delgado signed a Homegrown contract with Chivas USA in 2012 and made his MLS debut later that year. When the club folded in 2014, Toronto FC selected him in the MLS Dispersal Draft, beginning a seven-season spell. At Toronto, he became a reliable midfield connector and helped the team win the 2017 MLS Cup, Supporters’ Shield and Canadian Championship. He moved to the LA Galaxy in 2022 and contributed to their 2024 MLS Cup triumph, assisting the winning goal in the final. Delgado also made his senior United States debut against Paraguay in 2018, winning the penalty for the match’s only goal, before joining LAFC in 2025.
