Maxim De Cuyper
Maxim De Cuyper is a Belgian midfielder from Knokke-Heist who developed at Club Brugge. He joined the Brugge academy in 2008 and made his professional debut in February 2020, starting the Europa League meeting with Manchester United that ended 1–1. De Cuyper also gained experience with Club NXT before spending two seasons on loan at KVC Westerlo from 2021 to 2023. At Westerlo, he helped the club win promotion and developed into a productive left-sided player, contributing goals and assists while taking on attacking and creative responsibilities. Returning to Club Brugge for 2023–24, he helped the team win the Belgian Pro League and reach the Europa Conference League semi-finals. He moved to Brighton in July 2025, continuing his development in England. De Cuyper made his Belgium debut against Montenegro in June 2024 and remains part of the national setup.
