Mael Daniel Davies

Mael Daniel Davies is a Welsh defender who has built his senior career in domestic football. Born on 10 October 1998, he developed in Swansea City's academy, progressing through the club's under-18 and under-23 teams. He left Swansea in July 2018 and made his senior breakthrough with Carmarthen Town during the 2018–19 season, recording 58 appearances and four goals. Davies moved to Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2019, where he made 46 appearances and scored 10 goals. In July 2020, he joined Penybont on a free transfer and has since surpassed 160 appearances for the club. Primarily a right-back, Davies has also been used at right midfield and wing-back, giving his teams width while covering the flank. He remains part of Penybont's squad, combining defensive duties with regular involvement in the Cymru Premier.
