Matevz Dajcar
Matevz Dajcar is a Slovenian goalkeeper developed at Domzale before moving to Atalanta’s youth system in Italy. At Atalanta, Matevz played for the Primavera and U18 teams between 2020 and 2022, gaining experience in UEFA Youth League competition. He returned to Slovenia in August 2022 on loan to ND Gorica, making 12 Prva Liga appearances during the 2022/23 season. Dajcar then went back to Italy and joined Atalanta U23 for the 2024/25 Serie C campaign, recording nine appearances. In summer 2025, he signed for Olimpija Ljubljana, bringing his Italian academy education back to the Slovenian capital. He has since featured for Olimpija in domestic competition and UEFA Conference League qualifying. The move represents the next stage of a career progressing from academy football through senior competition in Slovenia and Italy.
