Maxime Crépeau

Maxime Crépeau is a Canadian goalkeeper born in Greenfield Park on May 11, 1994. He joined the Montreal Impact Academy at 15, became Montreal's fourth Homegrown player in 2013, and spent several seasons developing as a reserve or loan player. In 2018, a loan to Ottawa Fury brought 15 clean sheets and the USL Goalkeeper of the Year award, helping earn him a starting move to the Vancouver Whitecaps. From 2019 to 2021, Crépeau won Vancouver's Player of the Year award twice and established himself as a prominent MLS goalkeeper. LAFC acquired him in 2022, and he featured in that year's MLS Cup final, where a late red card and leg fracture ended his match. LAFC won the ensuing shootout, while the injury prevented Crépeau from joining Canada's 2022 World Cup squad. He subsequently played for the Portland Timbers, represented Canada at the 2024 Copa América, and joined Orlando City for the 2026 season.
