Maxim Cojocaru
Maxim Cojocaru is a Moldovan forward born in Chișinău on January 13, 1998. He developed at Dacia Chișinău and entered the senior squad in 2015, remaining there until 2018. After a short spell with Latvian club FK Ventspils in February 2018, he returned to Moldova and joined Petrocub. Cojocaru moved to Sheriff Tiraspol in 2019, helping the club win Super Liga titles in 2019 and 2020/21, as well as Moldovan Cups in 2018/19 and 2021/22. He later continued his career in Romania with Chindia Târgoviște and Oțelul Galați between 2023 and 2025. At international level, Maxim Cojocaru made his Moldova debut against Iceland in a Euro 2020 qualifier on 7 September 2019. He subsequently returned to Petrocub, where he remains an attacking option.
