Matěj Chaluš

Matěj Chaluš is a Czech defender born in Prague on February 2, 1998. He developed in the Sparta Prague, Jablonec and Bohemians youth systems before making his professional breakthrough with Příbram. Slavia Prague signed him in 2016, with loan spells at Mladá Boleslav and Příbram. He later established himself at Slovan Liberec, where he became a regular central defender. In early 2022, Chaluš moved to Malmö FF and gained experience in Sweden, later joining FC Groningen on loan before returning to Liberec temporarily. He joined Baník Ostrava permanently in July 2024, adding another Czech top-flight chapter to his career. At international level, he represented Czechia in the youth teams and made his senior debut in 2022.
