Zander Mateo Cassierra Cabezas

M. Cassierra attacks space, making late runs beyond the line to threaten the back post and finish moves. He began at Deportivo Cali, winning the 2015 Apertura. M. Cassierra moved to Ajax. He topped Jong Ajax in 2017–18 with 18 goals. A breakthrough at Sochi in 2021–22 saw him finish as the league's second-highest scorer. M. Cassierra debuted for Colombia in 2023, scoring on debut against Iraq. In January 2026 he joined Atlético Mineiro, continuing as a central forward with a physique to hold up and link play. He presses high and creates separation, finishing moves with sharp, instinctive runs.
