Mihai Cristian Căpățînă

Mihai Cristian Căpățînă is a Romanian midfielder born in Slatina on 16 December 1995. He developed at the Școala de Fotbal Răzvan Raț before beginning his senior career with FC Olt Slatina, making his Liga II debut against Universitatea Craiova in 2013. From 2013 to 2015, he played primarily in central midfield. Căpățînă joined FC Voluntari in January 2016 and spent four seasons there, becoming a regular and making more than 150 appearances. In October 2020, he moved to Universitatea Craiova, where he operated as a defensive or central midfielder and also covered both full-back positions. He represented Romania at under-21 level. In July 2025, Căpățînă moved abroad to Ordabasy of Kazakhstan, adding an international chapter to his career.
