Maxime Busi

Maxime Busi is a Belgian defender born in Liège on 14 October 1999. He developed in the youth systems of Ivoz-Ramet, Standard Liège and Sint-Truiden before beginning his senior career with Charleroi. At Charleroi, Busi broke through as a right-back and established a reputation for energetic work on the flank. In October 2020, he moved to Parma, gaining experience in Italian football and adapting to the positional demands of a more compact defensive structure. Busi joined Reims in January 2022 on loan, and the move later became permanent. Primarily a right-back, he can also play as a wing-back or right-sided centre-back, offering recovery pace, physicality and width in possession. His crossing and ability to support attacks complement a high-intensity defensive approach, while his career has included Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 experience with Reims.
