Marco Bürki
Marco Bürki is a Swiss defender born in Bern who developed in the youth system of BSC Young Boys. He made his senior debut for Young Boys during the 2011–12 season and was part of the squad that won the 2017–18 Swiss league title. In 2015, Bürki moved to FC Thun on loan, gaining regular experience before returning to Young Boys. He then played for Belgian club Zulte Waregem from 2018 to 2020, broadening his experience abroad. Bürki joined FC Luzern for the 2020–21 season and helped the club win the Swiss Cup. In 2021, he returned to FC Thun, where he has continued as an experienced central defender. At 1.84 metres, Marco Bürki offers defensive reliability and experience while contributing to Thun’s back line.
