Michal Beran

Michal Beran is a Czech midfielder who plays for Sigma Olomouc. Born on 22 August 2000, he developed at 1. FC Slovácko before moving to Bohemians 1905 in 2017. He joined Slovan Liberec for the 2018–19 season, initially featuring for its under-19 and reserve sides before making his professional league debut in September 2019. His performances earned a move to Slavia Praha in July 2020, although he subsequently sought regular first-team football through loan spells at Liberec, Pardubice and Bohemians 1905. During his Bohemians spell from 2022 to 2024, Beran became a regular and helped the club win the 2023 Tipsport Liga. Primarily a central midfielder, he can also operate deeper, using close control, passing and ball progression to influence play. Beran made his Czech Republic debut in September 2025 and later featured for Sigma in the UEFA Conference League.
