Mads Bech Sørensen

Mads Bech Sørensen is a centre-back from Horsens, Denmark, whose height and left-footed profile have shaped a career in both Denmark and England. He developed at Østbirk IF before joining AC Horsens in 2011, and in May 2015 became the club’s youngest-ever player when he started a 1–1 draw with HB Køge. In July 2017, Bech moved to Brentford and initially developed through the club’s B team. He later made 72 appearances for Brentford and helped the side win promotion to the Premier League, including a breakthrough 2020–21 campaign. Loans to Nice, where he made no competitive appearance, and FC Groningen, where a broken forearm disrupted his spell, followed. Bech returned to Denmark with FC Midtjylland in September 2023 and won the Danish Superliga in his first season. He was appointed Midtjylland captain in July 2024.
